ERIN FORRISTER
 

Erin Forrister is deeply committed to advancing climate and agriculture solutions, drawing on her hands-on farming experience to support policy and advocacy efforts. With a background rooted in regenerative agriculture and community-driven initiatives, she focuses on practical, impactful approaches to addressing challenges at the intersection of agriculture, climate, and energy.  

At CO2EFFICIENT, Erin serves as the Senior Manager of Policy and Advocacy. In this role, she supports the firm’s work across climate, agriculture, and energy portfolios, contributing to initiatives that foster innovation in decarbonization and address climate challenges through technology and nature-based solutions. Erin works closely with clients to ensure effective coordination on policy priorities, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy materials. 

Prior to joining CO2EFFICIENT, Erin managed a hydroponic farm in coastal Alabama and worked on small-scale vegetable farms across Colorado’s Front Range and Western Slope, where she developed a deep understanding of regenerative farming practices, soil carbon sequestration, and the connections between agriculture and climate issues. Erin also worked in the City of Boulder, Colorado’s Climate Initiatives Department, where she helped design a municipal framework for ecosystem management and facilitated workshops on regenerative agriculture and biodiversity as part of the city’s Climate Mobilization Action Plan. 

Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Designing and Implementing Social Innovations, and minor in Community Leadership Studies, from the University of Colorado.
