MOLLY IGOE
 

Molly Igoe is a dynamic policy and communications professional with expertise in energy, environmental, and technology policy and experience managing industry coalitions, developing strategic advocacy initiatives, and fostering relationships with key government officials and stakeholders to drive impactful policy solutions. 

At CO2EFFICIENT, Molly serves as the Director of Policy, Communications, and Advocacy. Molly helps lead industry coalitions, collaborates with industry stakeholders and policymakers, and leads all communications efforts on behalf of CO2EFFICIENT and its coalitions. To accomplish these objectives, she develops strategic policy and advocacy materials, oversees media relations efforts, and organizes meetings and events to elevate key energy issues and foster meaningful engagement with policymakers and their staff. 

Prior to her current role, Molly served as Legislative Director in the Maryland House of Delegates for Delegate David Fraser-Hidalgo (D-Montgomery County), where she spearheaded the development of energy, environmental, and transportation legislation, built strategic relationships with policymakers, and created compelling advocacy materials to drive legislative action. She also has media relations and communications experience from working at the Public Religion Research Institute, where she helped manage communications strategies and media outreach to amplify research deliverables. 

Molly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington College and a Master of Arts in Political Communication from American University.
